Okay, so since it was a school trip, we would have to go to the local schools there for a exchange programme kinda thing. We went to this school in Qu Fu and whenever there are guests to your school there would always be performances by the students right? They did and there was this group of boys who were going to perform a dance. At first we didn't think much about it but once they started, damn they were good! Especially this guy in the red shoes. I thought to myself "hmm he's also quite good looking" So he was my eyecandy sorta thing while I was there. I was also spazzing to Minyi how cute he was and whatsoever, all that small girl shit hahahahahah. After that performance, I was a little disappointed I didn't get to see him again later in the day. I went around the school sitting into classes secretly hoping I would get to sit into his class and somehow talk to him or befriend him but that never happened. Then it was time to leave the school I was super bummed that I couldn't see him again so I didn't get my hopes up of getting to see him again during the trip there.
The next few days there were sightseeing and just going around the Shan Dong province sucking in all that culture. Also, just playing around with friends. On the last day of our trip, our teacher suddenly told us that we would be going back to that school to say our goodbyes as many of us made friends with the students there. Then this gleam of hope popped up. I was hoping to see him again and maybe pass him a gift because our teachers told us to prepare some gifts for the students there and I did. I had a few left and was really really hoping that I'll see him again to pass him the little keychain thing (Cant really remember I'm sorry its been 2years hahaha). I met my other new friends and gave them the gifts and all that. Even Minyi was able to meet her eyecandy (yes she did have one too) Then our teacher told us that we were leaving soon. I panicked and hopes died down. Then Minqi said her friends were in the same class as him so I could pass it to them to pass it to him.
I was super sad that I wasn't able to see him again and passed them the gift. SUDDENLY, Minyi was like "EH IS THAT HIM" Pointing to a distance. I turned and yes, it was him and I was like OMG. But he was so far away and wasn't walking in our direction and out of no where, Minyi called his name. HAHAHA YES SHE DID. He responded and she hand gestured him to come. I was literally dying right beside her and freaking out at the same time. When he finally approached us, Minyi said in chinese "she wants to take a picture with you" and pointed at me. I WAS LIKE WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT!?!?!?! I got a hold of the situation and took a picture with him and thanked him awkwardly for the picture and passed him the gift. He had to go for class so he said bye and we had to leave also. I still remember going up the bus and turning to see where he was and he was standing there waving at me. I died inside and waved back. LITERALLY crumbled in my seat and spazzed to Minyi once again. hahahaha
China didn't have any access to Facebook or Instagram or anything like that and all they had was this app called QQ. Some of my friends gave me their QQ numbers so I could add them and talk to them when I was back in Singapore. I did and also I couldn't help but ask around for his QQ number too. Minqi helped me get it somehow from her friends and I just said (in Chinese) "Hi" and just hoped for a reply.........
I think this is it for today hahahahaha the more exciting stuff will come in the next blogpost!! I'm sorry but I felt that this one was getting too long. HAHA. Hopefully I'll have it up soon! Just stay tuned!(; I promise the next blogpost would be more interesting hahaha.
