A day full of fond memories.

Hey there bunnies! Back! This post is going to be about my day yesterday, 26th March Thursday 2015. A long day for me but also a day to be remembered.

In the morning, my mum and I decided to go to the Parliament House to give our last respects and to say our last goodbye to our first prime minister, founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. I'll have to say that was the most meaningful thing I've done in the 16+ years of my life. There were so many other people queuing along side my mum and I. It was really nice to see Singaporeans taking out the time to actually stand under the sun in the heat for hours just for that few minutes we would get to say our last goodbyes to Mr Lee. This just shows how much respect us Singaporeans have towards him. To many of us he wasn't just a prime minister, he WAS Singapore. Without Mr Lee Kuan Yew, we would never have the chance to see Singapore in the same state she is in now. He was the one who believed in Singapore even though we had no natural resources just land and a whole bunch of people. He was the one who transformed Singapore from a third world country to a first world country in less than 50 years. 50 years ago he wept for our independence and now, 50 years later us, the citizens of Singapore shall weep for you. Mr Lee Kuan Yew, never did anything to benefit himself but only did things that would benefit Singapore. There will not be another man like him. There will also not be another leader like him. I would just like to thank him for all that he has sacrificed for us. Mr Lee Kuan Yew 1923-2015.

Although my mum and I didn't have to queue for long, around 2+hours, I must say I really respect and salute those whom have queued for 8-10hours later in the afternoon. It is really an experience once in a lifetime and I do not regret that decision and those tears I shed there. Also, Jia You to all those who are right there right now at the Padang queuing.

On the other hand, later in the afternoon was another gathering of the primary school friends!! HAHA. We love each other too much as to meet again just after 4 days. We had loads of laughter, fun, huge amounts of cold jokes and most importantly, we enjoyed each other's company. We chose a better movie this time, 'Home' the cartoon. I'll say it was quite a good movie and love the sountract I must say. After the movie, Vanessa, QiLe, Ivan and I went on some rampage man. hahaa right after exiting our cinema, we went straight into another cinema. It was showing 'Ah Boys To Men 3' and we just sat there for a while then we went on to explore other halls. So, in total we saw 13 movies hahahahahaha. We never really stayed till the end of any other movie and just left but that was one experience never to be forgotten hahaha. And it was time to go home. This blog post is getting a little too long so I'm gonna end it here with some pictures. Thank you all for reading my blog although its nothing much. Thankful for every single one of you! hehe goodnight love you all!

Much love,
Rach xoxo
