Day 3:
Okay, so i forgot to mention that my friend Kelly was in town too. Together with her mum and sister. And so, on day 3, both her mum and my mum had some event to attend to and so they left us kids alone. My dad wasn't feeling too well so he just rested in the hotel. Our mums just told us to go out together. Which was very surprising that they were actually okay to leave us KIDS alone in HONG KONG. Kelly and i are both 17 (duh) and her younger sister is like 12. SO YA. Imagine just the 3 of us roaming the streets of Hong Kong. HAHA. It was actually quite an adventure. At first we just started roaming the streets with no aim at all. We then reached this like lane of pet shops and all the puppies and kittens were super adorable. And suddenly it came to me. A DOG CAFE. Since we had nothing to do. So we went to google for a dog cafe in the area and YES. There was one not too far away from us. We then embarked on our adventure. We had no idea if the cafe was still in business and what not and we aren't even sure of the location..
We just decided to take a gamble. We walked and we walked. Finally we reached the area and online it stated that the cafe was on the second level of the building. However, we couldn't find a staircase to the cafe nor did we see any signs of the cafe. We actually stood there for quite a while before actually finding the staircase which brought us right infront of the cafe. It was called 'On Dog Cafe'. When we reached, i wouldn't say the place was in super good condition but the doggies made up for it. They had 3 huge Siberian Huskies and 2 shiba inus one of them was exceptionally huge hahaha.OH and they have a CAT haha which created fond memories for us. (inside joke) But aww they were all so cute. The 3 of us stayed there for around 2hours?.. I can't really remember...
After we had our fun, it was time to leave the place and time to do some shoppinggg!! I wanted to get a pair of white shoes and was on the hunt. So we made our way to Langham place, a really big shopping centre with so many shops. (One of my favourite shopping centres actually! and i was surprised we managed to find it) And we made our way to the sports level. Where they had all the sport shops. In the end i did manage to get a pair hehe. My white nike airs. Because my dad told me if i didn't get it then, i wouldn't have any more time to do so. So i was like okay heck it and i just got it. HAHA. Talk about impulse buying... But i certainly do not regret it. Me being me, i did something super embarrassing there... I still cringe at the thought of it hahahahahahahahaha shit. (Kelly remember? 2k?) HAHAHA i'd rather not let that story see the light of day.
After the shoe shopping, it was time to leave and head back to the hotel as we had to meet my dad and went for dinner with my mum's friends and i finally get to meet my little friend Tiffany again!! The night then ended with dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 4:
So day 4 is my "last" day in Hong Kong and the reason why, is that day 5 only consists of waking up and leaving for the airport.. so yes, sadly day 4 is my last day. It was kind of a slack day actually. We went for breakfast at my FAVOURITE BREAKFAST PLACE IN TOWN!! The Australian milk dairy company... or something along that line i cant remember the English name of the place. haha. My dad brought us there a few years ago and i guess they became more and more famous on social media platforms and now we even have to queue up for their deliciousness HAHA. After that, we just went a little shopping after and then met my uncle and his family for lunch = dimsum again HAHAHAH. Spent the whole day with my little cousin. He's 4 this year, super cute but also super mischievous. We just basically walked around, then went over to my grandparent's place slightly after and later in the evening left to have a last family dinner for this trip and i guess that was about it for day 4!!
HEAVENLY |
So that's it for my travel diary for my trip to Hong Kong this year!! Hope you guys enjoyed it!!!

Rachel xoxo
