Day full of laugher and sweat(?)..

Hey there bunnies! First post of April!! This is just going to be a blog post of my day today! 6th April'15.

Firstly, I made Cui Wen accompany me to collect my phone after service hahaha (cracked screen remember?) Met her around 11:30-ish and went all the way to Wheelock to collect my phone FINALLY. Also, because Pearlie, Cui Wen and I have been talking about going cafe hopping for quite sometime, we decided to finally put our words into actions. Plus, Cui Wen finally got her debit card hahaha. The day before, we planned to go to Holland Village's Hatched for lunch then walk around to find a good dessert place. So, after collecting my phone, Cui Wen and I went on to Holland Village to meet Pearlie.

When we all met at Holland Village, it started raining.. Which did not make finding Hatched any easier. We searched and searched for the cafe/restaurant. We took FOREVER. I swear we walked almost the whole of Holland Village but still couldn't find Hatched. I bet we walked those alleys at least 5 times back and forth. Halfway through, we decided to just go into the pet shop to enjoy the aircon and also, look at all the cute little doggies!! I swear I made a connection with the bulldog there man. HAHA. When I was taking a selfie with him he was so far away at the corner then after one picture, he walked over and sit right beside me awww. So cute I almost died.

When we finally decided to just ask someone in the area where Hatched was(we asked this sales girl in The Body Shop), she told us it was just two shops down... We walked there and was just facing the shop's shutters. Literally. The cafe was closed.... We have been actually walking past that exact shop god knows how many times. The 3 of us were like what on earth, how can we be so blind. When we checked the store's website, it stated "Closed on Mondays" Dammit. That means we went around looking high and low for a cafe that was CLOSED. HA. HA. HA. The super blind and idiot 3 girls hahahaha.

By then, we were already starving and just wanted a place to eat so we went to D'good Cafe. I'll have to say the interior was super pretty and they have like little swings and stuff but be ready to spend as the food and drinks there aren't exactly what I call student friendly. Cui Wen and I decided to have poached eggs with portobello mushrooms and Pearlie got a pasta. Cui Wen added a soup while Pearlie and I settled with drinks, mine was green tea latte and hers was green tea cream frappe. Yes, we kinda have an obession with anything green tea. The food there isn't too bad? But I've had better and the portions are kind of small.. Well at least for Cui Wen and I. Pearlie's pasta was of a decent size hahaha. So, Cui Wen and I weren't exactly satisfied with our meal. However, I really loved the green tea latte hehe. So I guess the drinks there are more worth it than their meals? I'll most probably be back for their drinks.

We only left at around 4pm and decided to just go to one of the dessert cafes that we searched the night before, Department Of Caffeine. The 3 of us took the train to the nearest station and walked to the cafe. Once again, we took quite a while to actually reach the cafe. I really think we're super blind. We actually walked passed it... AGAIN. In the end we just decided to call the cafe and asked for directions and as we were walking there we were like "weren't we here just now?" YES WE WERE. Super non observant people we are. The cafe was quite crowded when we arrived and the people there were quite friendly! Also, we took ages to decide what to order. In the end we just chose 2 waffles with ice cream. One rum soaked banana chocolate waffle with vanilla ice cream and one butter scotch ice cream with strawberries and butter milk waffle. (Can't exactly remember the full name so yeah haha.) The waffles arrived and smelled like heaven. They were soft and fluffy and just really good. Pearlie really liked the banana one while Cui Wen and I preferred the strawberry one which in our opinion was sweeter haha. The waffles were also super filling. Would return for moreeeeee! We really had a great time at that cafe just laughing and chatting like retards.

When we finally left, we went back to this area we stumbled upon while looking for the cafe which was quite a pretty little place for pictures and guess what we did? Photo shoot time! HAHAHAHAH. Horrible but yes we did take quite a few pictures. As it was getting late we decided to leave and go to Cui Wen's house to colour HAHAHA. Don't judge, its a long story hahaha. I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano so I kinda got Cui Wen and Pearlie to teach me. I've like totally zero musical background besides having to play the recorder in primary school. Which obviously does not count. It was actually fun learning how to play the piano? Was kinda proud of myself when I mastered (self assume mastered) one whole line of this grade 1 song HAHA. I tried really hard okay! I also took it very seriously haha. I really wanna learn how to play the piano:( Totally gonna get Cui Wen to be my teacher hahaha. I was also actually surprised what I learned in primary school music lessons actually helped me today hahahahaah. The note reading part at least. Which means, I actually did listen okay haha.

We had dinner and finally started colouring together(: Pearlie and I only left at around 10pm? So yes, it was a whole day of weird activities hahaha but it was a lot of fun and I'm sure the girls and I enjoyed today!((: We took too many pictures so I didn't add any filters hahaha plus its already 2:48AM. So deal with no filter pictures hahaha. That's all for today!
