Day 1: The first day we actually didn't do much cause almost the whole day was us getting to Korea and to our hotel. For this trip, we went free&Easy and I did the itinerary hehe. Our flight was at around 8am on the 4th of January 2015 (I know right what a great start to the new year:P) I'm like totally not a morning person so I was literally dead when I had to wake up at 4/5am. The flight to Korea took around 6-7hours? I literally KO-ed in the plane and slept the whole way. But! I woke up for my meal hahaha which is an accomplishment cause I don't EVER eat airplane food. I don't know why it just doesn't taste good hahaha. To me, SIA's (Singapore Airlines) food is like the best ever for economy class I actually finished everything man AMAZING! Okay, besides the weird cake thingy haha.
So, once we reached Incheon Airport Korea at around 3:30pm/4pm, the first thing we did was to rent the 'Wifi Egg' from their Olleh counter. That was one of the best investments ever hahaha. It was to enable us to use the internet throughout the trip in Korea. Which was a big yes for us((: After that I just went to the 7-11 there in the airport to get some water. And I stumbled upon the famous banana milk!!!! I couldn't resist and got myself one bottle hahahaha. It was almost heaven in a bottle if you like bananas and no, it does not taste like the banana milk we have here from HL its like 10000X better. It didn't have any artificial taste and it was just THAT good.
After that we just went to buy bus tickets for our bus ride to the hotel. It was a really long journey and by the time we reached our hotel, it was 6pm+ and the sky was already dark. ( in winter their days are shorter so the sunsets at around 5:30pm kts) We checked in and all and when we reached our door, OMG it was PINK!! It was the only pink door on that level. I was like obsessed with the door hahahahaha. It gets better... When we enter, the room was all pink and it was glittery and omg my dream hotel room man. It was supposedly the 'Princess room' in that hotel and ya we got it. But I still have no idea why or how we managed to get that room hahaha. I think the hotel is somehow in a partnership with Etude House, so the room was kinda decorated in that kind of Etude House feel hahaha. Perfect for me<3 I was super amazed at the room I couldn't stop saying "omg" HAHA. It was damn cool hahahah. After getting over how pink the room was, we went to find dinner!:D And we stayed in Myeongdong, which is one of the famous shopping districts in Korea yippe!! And it is a very huge tourist attraction.
Because we were still getting used to the cold so we decided to have beef bone soup for dinner which was in the food itinerary I made hahah ( Yes I did a whole load of research before my trip okay!) I'd say it was a very good meal and their kimchi was the best I had throughout the whole trip! I miss it now:((( It was a very satisfying first meal in Korea hahahaha! After dinner we just explored around Myeongdong, did some shopping and ate their famous 32cm parfiat icecream in the cold hahahaha and lastly, it was back to the hotel to sleeeep and recharge for the next day!:D hehehe
I think this post is already too long so i think I'm just gonna have one post for one day in Korea hahahaha. So, that's all for this post! Stay tuned for my Korean trip day 2!!!:D
