Hey there bunnies!!! I'm back!!!!!!! *pops confetti* I'm so sorry that I've practically neglected my blog ever since school started but, there was just so much to do I barely even had time to sleep:( Okay, so now I'm currently studying in Diploma in Business and Information and Technology! To be honest, I wasn't like super interested in my course before school started and was kind of doubting if this course was really for me. Also, it has the words information technology in it and I was super sceptical. Like its IT. How is IT interesting and was wondering if my course would be like full of nerds or IT geeks and stuff like that. Now, I am super glad to say that my course is nothing like what I had pictured AT ALL. Its actually quite cool. Like the things we learn are really interesting.
To me now, school is fine but, THE ASSIGNMENTS ARE KILLING ME. Pretty sure our course was one of the busiest on the first week of school with so many projects and assignments. Even now, we have loads of work to do and really too little time to complete. I don't think I DREAD going to school yet. HAHA. Like I find the things we do quite fun. Like we have modules like 'Social Media Marketing' , 'Digital Media for Business' , 'Web Client development' and others. I know just saying the names of the module doesn't exactly explain how interesting they are so here is a short explanation of the modules:
Social Media Marketing: We get to work with real clients and basically help them market their business on social media.
Digital Media for Business: Okay this module is full of stuff. We get to learn how to design icons, posters and anything that you actually need to design in business. Also, we learn about films like how to edit films, how to take appealing videos and such.
Web Client Development: THIS IS HELL. HAHA okay maybe not literally hell but its really a whole load of content. We have to learn how to create websites FROM SCRATCH. Like literally from scratch and that's tough as heck. Typing all the commands and stuff. From this, I have a new found respect for website designers and developers... If you don't understand what from scratch actually means, just go to any random website, and right click and click "view page source" Thats all the codes made up to form that one page. YES. THAT. SEE THAT!?!? HELL. HAHAAH
Accounting: As we do business as well, yes we have accounting or also known as POA.
Ethic & IT law: Thats just basically learning about the laws haha.
So yeah! That's about it! But we still have other modules that are like not just for our course so I'm not gonna talk about that. Imagine all those having projects and all are ongoing at the same time. So yes, I have been busy. HAHA. Not saying that I'm actually free now but I just felt like I needed to blog. I hope this post has kinda given you an idea about my course and for those who are thinking of coming SP DBIT, I can just say, I don't think you'll regret. Or is it too early for me to say that HAHA. Considering the fact that I've just been in this course for barely 4weeks. HAHAHAHA. Anyways, I hope all of you have been well(: I can't wait for the holidays to be really honest. I just quite tired already hahaha. I just want to hibernate for a month. JUNE COME COME COME QUICK!!
For those of you who are thinking of coming to poly instead of JC because its so-called "easier" or so-called "no stress" HEH. Don't kid yourself okay! Poly isn't easy either. Or actually I'll say the stress levels are the same but just different learning styles? Poly is more project and hands-on not so much of textbooks and studying. Choose wisely!
School aside, I'm really missing my girls:( Since school started we couldn't really meet up due to the difference in our own timetables and other commitments:( That's also another reason why I want june to hurry up. Then shall we reunite<3 HAHA.
I'm damn gay I know. Anyways, I'll be back soon okay!!!(: In the meantime, don't you ever forget to smile((:
